2013 NFL Week 10 "Studs & Duds"

                                                                                                 Week 10

                                                                                                  Studs

Tavon Austin-  Welcome to the NFL Tavon Austin! Austin's performance this past Sunday just may be a small dose of what we can expect from the Rookie in the future! 8 Receptions 138 yards 2 TD's  98 Punt Return for a TD ( 3 Total TD's)

Calvin Johnson- So Megatron did not have another 300+ yard receiving game against the Bears. Hell, he did not even break triple digits! (83 yards) BUT he was still an important factor in the outcome in the Lions 21-19 win over Chicago with 2 TD's on 6 receptions

Russell Wilson- Wilson has to be a consideration for MVP at this point! Wilson went 19/26 throwing for 287 yards and 2 TD passes en-route to leading the Seattle Seahawks to a 9-1 record!

Marshawn Lynch- The other half of the Seahawks dynamic one-two punch, Marshawn Lynch had 24 carries for 145 yards and a TD.

Nick Foles- No he did not throw for 7 TD's but he still put together a solid outing against the Green Bay Packers for another win. 12/18 228 yard 3 TD   (8 carries 38 yards)

Drew Brees-  Fired on all cylinders! Threw 4 TD passes to four different receivers while throwing for 392 yards and completing 34 of his 41 passes! (83%)

Vincent Rey- Rey was all over the field making plays for the Bengals defense! If not for his performance, Cincinnati may have not even have had a chance to get back into the game like they did. 10 Tackles (5 assisted) 3.0 sacks 1 INT.

Ryan Fitzpatrick- Fitzpatrick had to step up in fill in for Jake Locker after he went down with a (season ending) foot injury. Despite a losing effort, Fitzpatrick drew some impressive numbers! 22/33 264 yard 2 TD's   1 Rushing TD (3 carries 13 yards)

Demaryius Thomas- Boy does Peyton Manning love Demaryius Thomas right now! The Broncos love drawing up Thomas for a lateral/screen and have him turning on the jets!  7 receptions 108 yards 3 TD's

Antonio Brown- 104 of the 204 passing yards by Ben Roethlisberger went to this guy! Big Ben hook up with him 6 different times all the while Brown is becoming his favorite target!

Andrew Luck- While Tavon Austin was taking care of business and putting up points on the scoreboard for the Rams, Luck was being taken apart by the St. Louis defense throwing 3 INT's and had fumble (which he lost)

Andy Dalton- This guy is a basketcase. Yes he puts up good numbers. Yes, he throws TD passes. But he also causes many turnovers and that he did against the Ravens. Dalton had 2 TD's 3 INT's going for 274 yards and threw over 50 times and did not even complete half of his passes.

                                                                                                 Rob Carr

Terrelle Pryor-  I am beginning to think Pryor's days as starting QB for the Raiders is wearing thin. 11 of 26 122 yards 0 TD's and 1 INT (Pryor had 5 carries for 19 yards and a Rushing TD) Pryor also had a fumble that lead to a touchdown for the NY Giants.

Chad Henne- Funny I have the Quarterback (Ryan Fitzpatrick) on the opposing side of this game as a Stud, but Henne as a Dud. But as for Fitzpatrick, it is for good reason as Henne went just 14/23 180 yards and 2 INT's

Colin Kaepernick- Could the San Francisco 49ers be regretting dumping Alex Smith for Kaepernick? Whatever the case, Kaepernick had another horrible game, finishing just 11 of 22 for 91 yds and an INT. Kaepernick was also sacked 6 times!

C.J.  Spiller- Did not bring his versatility to the game this past Sunday. Spiller finished with ONLY 34 yards of total offense ( 23 rushing yards on 8 carries,  11 receiving yards on 3 receptions)
